Information and purpose
Application forms collect your name, contact details, desired position, qualifications, certificates, experience, languages, vessel or employment history, availability, application information in your uploaded CV and additional information to evaluate your application and contact you. The seafarer form may also collect nationality and date of birth; the shore form may collect experience duration and current location. Do not submit health, criminal record or other special-category information not requested by the form.
Collection and legal basis
Information is collected electronically through form fields and an uploaded CV. The form requires a CV in PDF, DOC or DOCX format, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. General candidate-pool processing for suitable vacancies and contact relies on your explicit consent under Article 5(1) of Turkish Law No. 6698. Without candidate-pool consent, a general application is not sent. For an application to a published vacancy, information directly related and necessary to entering into an employment contract may be processed under Article 5(2)(c); retention for future vacancies requires separate candidate-pool consent. Acknowledging this notice is not consent.
Access and service providers
Recruitment evaluation is performed only by authorised Dadaylilar Shipping personnel. Applications are not sent to other companies or recruitment agencies for evaluation. Microsoft 365 is used under a service agreement to transmit application emails and CV attachments and store them in mailboxes. The product-terms section of the admin panel displays a commitment to store certain customer data at rest in Türkiye. This commitment does not mean that all processing takes place exclusively in Türkiye. Any legal mechanism required for international transfers must be established separately.
Retention
Candidate-pool information is retained for up to six months from submission. Application details are sent to company mailboxes by email; the company performs deletion at the end of that period, with earlier deletion when the purpose or processing conditions cease. Limited records legally required to be retained are kept only for the necessary purpose and period. The form does not automatically delete emails. Successful applicants receive a separate employee notice.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of Turkish Law No. 6698, you may learn whether data is processed, request information, learn its purpose and whether it is used accordingly, identify recipients, request correction and deletion or destruction where applicable and notification of these actions to recipients, object to adverse outcomes from exclusively automated analysis, and seek compensation for unlawful processing. Requests may be made using legally permitted methods to the company address or from an email address previously provided and registered in company records to ops@dadaylilarshipping.net. Identity verification may be required. Requests are addressed within thirty days.
